01Who controls your information
The controller of the personal information collected through this website is Funds of Israel.
Privacy questions and requests: Ben@FundsofIsrael.com or Oz@FundsofIsrael.com.
02Information we collect
Contact form: country of origin, full name, the type of party you represent (a fund, a start-up or a corporation), e-mail address, subject, the details of your inquiry, and your confirmation that you have read this policy.
Newsletter: your e-mail address, your consent and the time it was given, and later your subscription status (for example, if you unsubscribe).
With each submission we also record the date and time, the website language, the page you sent it from and, if present, the campaign parameters in the address (UTM). For security and spam prevention we keep only a one-way cryptographic code derived from your IP address, never the IP address itself.
We do not request identification, financial or investment documents through the website, and we do not use analytics or advertising tracking.
03How we use it and on what basis
We use the information to review and answer your inquiry, to send the newsletter to those who asked for it, to protect the website against misuse and spam, and to comply with the law.
We process inquiry information because you asked us to contact you, and newsletter information on the basis of your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time. For visitors from the European Union, these are the legal bases of taking steps at your request and of consent, respectively; protecting the website is based on our legitimate interest in keeping it secure.
04Mandatory and voluntary information
You are not legally obliged to provide any information. The fields marked as required in the contact form are needed so that we can understand and answer your inquiry; without them we cannot process it. To receive the newsletter, an e-mail address and your consent are required.
05Who receives it; processors
Inquiries are read by the founders of Funds of Israel, Ben Marili and Oz Hassine. We do not sell personal information.
The information is processed on our behalf by service providers: Vercel Inc., which hosts the website; Google (Google Workspace), which stores inquiries and newsletter sign-ups in our organisation's account and delivers the notification e-mails sent to the founders; and, once newsletters are sent, a dedicated e-mail delivery provider. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
We may disclose information when the law requires it.
06International transfers
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Israel, including in the United States and the European Union. Such transfers are made in accordance with the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001, and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, and our service providers are bound by contractual data-protection commitments.
07Retention and deletion
Inquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law or by an ongoing relationship. Messages identified as spam are deleted within 30 days.
Newsletter details are kept while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep only your e-mail address and the date you unsubscribed, so that we do not write to you again.
08Cookies and local storage
The website sets no cookies. See the Cookie Policy for the short list of items stored in your browser.
09Security
We use reasonable measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access for the founders only, server-side validation and spam protection, and IP addresses stored only as one-way codes. No system is completely secure.
10Your rights and how to exercise them
Under the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, you may ask to review the information we hold about you and to correct or delete it. Visitors from the European Union have additional rights under the GDPR. Send requests to Ben@FundsofIsrael.com or Oz@FundsofIsrael.com; we will answer within the time required by law.
11Direct marketing
A request to be contacted is not consent to marketing. We send the newsletter only to people who explicitly agreed to receive it. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask to be removed by e-mail at any time; removal is free of charge. Newsletter e-mails are sent in accordance with section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law, 5742-1982, and are marked as required by law.
12Children
The website is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
13Complaints and regulator contact
If you believe your privacy has been infringed, please contact us first. You may also contact the Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice (gov.il) or, for residents of the European Union, your local data-protection authority.
